Robert N. Baugniet

Robert Baugniet, retired from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in October 2009 after serving as Director, Corporate Communications, for eight years. Previously, Mr. Baugniet was Vice President, Corporate Communications, for Rolls-Royce North America. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Mr. Baugniet spent 29 years with Berger & Associates, a major Canadian public relations consulting firm where he progressively rose through the ranks to become President and Chief Executive Officer. In parallel with his civilian career, Mr. Baugniet served in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve, rising to the rank of Commodore and ultimately commanding Canada’s naval reserve forces. Mr. Baugniet earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia University in Montreal and is an alumna of the National Defense College of Canada International Security Studies Program.




Chris Bierbrier

Chris Bierbrier brings a unique and diverse set of core competencies to the Bierbrier Board sharing extensive experience in budgeting and financial oversight, grant writing and fund development, and community relations. Mrs. Bierbrier currently serves as President of Routes to Africa, an NGO she founded to support secondary education in West Africa, Chair of the Board of The Rey Center, and Board Member of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. Mrs. Bierbrier graduated with honors from Boston College and holds an MBA from Suffolk University.




Stanley Waldstein

Stanley Waldstein brings well over 50 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Consultant to the Bierbrier Development Board. During his professional career, Mr. Waldstein heavily concentrated in taxation, auditing, consulting services and litigation support. Subsequent to his retirement from the Accounting Profession, he acted as an independent consultant to Public Accounting Firms and a multitude of Family Owned Businesses. Mr. Waldstein was a Founding Senior Partner of Tobin & Waldstein. Immediately prior to that, he was the Senior Audit Partner in the Boston office of Clarence, Rainess & Co. Mr. Waldstein graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance and Commerce with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics.




Frank Giso

Frank Giso brings many years of Commercial Real Estate law experience to the Bierbrier Development Board. Frank represented Bierbrier Development for 30 years while actively practicing law as a partner at Choate Hall & Stewart. Following his retirement from Choate in 2014, Mr. Giso joined Bierbrier Development as Corporate Counsel. Mr. Giso brings a wide-ranging transactional experience with a commercial real estate practice focus including entity creation, advice on tax implications and documentation of transaction management issues in the area of real estate. Mr. Giso served as chairman of the Real Estate Department at Choate from 1990 to 2000 and, during his career at Choate, he represented a wide range of clients including national REITs, non-profits, lenders, and developers. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America and is named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer. Mr. Giso received his undergraduate degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Brown University and graduated magna cum laude from Cornell Law School.
